ANTONIO MACEDA-JOHNSON, DMD
Dr. Antonio Maceda-Johnson was born in Caracas, Venezuela and was raised in Weston, FL. He speaks Spanish fluently and understands some Portuguese and Italian. He has an identical twin brother and a younger sister. He graduated from TUFTS University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and received his Masters in Biomedical Science. Dr. Maceda-Johnson learned to play guitar at an early age and taught students to play during his studies at TUFTS. He likes to play reggae, flamenco, and rock. He was rewarded four medals for his guitar playing from the FL Orchestra Association. His other hobbies include oil painting, surfing at the beach, and rock climbing. Dr. Maceda-Johnson is interested in expanding his knowledge in dentistry and likes talking to his patients. He says he likes to "work with his hand because it brings him back to his artistic side."
MARIA THOMAS, DMD
Dr. Maria Thomas was born in Caracas, Venezuela and was raised in Weston, FL. She speaks Spanish fluently. She has a brother who is attending dental school in the Fall. She graduated from TUFTS University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Some of Dr. Thomas' interests and hobbies include spending time at the beach, reading, and playing tennis. She enjoys traveling through different parts of Europe, such as Spain, France, England, and Prague. She likes getting to know each of her patients, but more importantly, easing their pain.
